This Committee examines matters concerning the quality of education at nursing universities and improvement of the qualities and abilities required of nursing teacher to enhance and improve education at nursing universities.
The Committee will carry out research on education at nursing universities, obtains basic materials for improving education, shares these issues among nursing universities, and plans and holds Committee review meetings and training for the purpose of solving problems as well as improving education.

This Committee aims to review and accredit educational curricula for advanced practice nursing, identify specialized nursing fields, and examine the ideal system for accreditation to disseminate the educational curricula for advanced practice nursing. The Committee collaborates and consults with other related organizations with respect to the certification of educational curricula for advanced practice nursing.
The Committee deliberates on the following matters in accordance with the Rules on Accreditation of Educational Curricula for Advanced Practice Nursing:

1. Matters concerning the accreditation system and management of educational curricula for advanced practice nursing
2. Matters concerning the specification of educational programs in specialized nursing fields
3. Matters concerning accreditation of educational programs in specialized nursing fields
4. Other important matters related to accreditation, etc.

This Committee aims to support the development of nursing education by disseminating information on nursing to member institutions and their communities. The Committee will discuss public relations matters. The progress and results, etc. shall be reported to the Board of Directors.
The matters under the jurisdiction of this Committee are as follows:

1. Deliberate and report to the Board of Directors on the operation policy of the official JANPU website
2. Maintain and manage the JANPU website
3. Discuss appropriate means and promote the creation of media to publicize the activities of JANPU widely in society

This Committee aims to support the globalization of our member institutions through international exchanges related to nursing higher education.
The Committee fulfills the following duties:

1. Matters concerning international exchange with the East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars
2. Matters concerning international networks for doctoral education
3. Matters concerning fostering the international activities of young researchers
4. Other necessary matters

This Committee aims to conduct a fact-finding survey on education, research, social contribution, etc. of member institutions every fiscal year, and to provide basic materials related to the future of nursing universities.
The Committee fulfills the following duties:

1. Attempt to raise the awareness of all the member institutions so that meaningful survey results can be obtained
2. Survey results will be reported every single year, and yearly comparisons will be made every five years.
3. Cooperate with the secretariats and subcontractors to smoothly conduct surveys, analyze the results, and publish reports
4. Additionally, systematize the use of databases

In carrying out projects related to disaster prevention and relief, this Committee discusses important matters such as awareness-raising and public relations related to disaster prevention, fundraising and grants related to disaster relief, and other important organizational matters, and ensure that such projects proceed smoothly and appropriately.
The Committee fulfills the following duties:

1. Matters concerning awareness-raising related to disaster prevention
2. Matters concerning system development related to disaster response
3. Matters concerning fundraising to support nursing activities in times of disaster
4. Matters concerning public relations to support nursing activities in times of disaster
5. Matters concerning examinations to select applicants, etc. for disaster relief funds
6. Other necessary matters

This Committee aims to create a grand design for expansion of the qualification system, education, roles and functions, discretion etc. of advanced practice nurses (hereinafter “APNs”) in view of the current situation of APNs, with the objective of quickly disseminating and raising awareness of APNs in Japan.
The Committee deliberates on the following matters:

1. Matters concerning APN curricula
2. Matters concerning the nature of specialized fields in APN
3. Matters concerning APN certification/qualification
4. Matters concerning coordination with related institutions relating to APN
5. Other matters necessary for formulating the APN grand design

This Committee will carry out JANPU-NP qualification certification projects.
The Committee deliberates on the following matters:

1. Matters concerning implementation and improvement of the JANPU-NP qualification certification system
2. Matters concerning the identification of specialized nursing fields of JANPU-NP
3. Matters concerning examinations for JANPU-NP accreditation, renewal, and re-accreditation
4. Matters concerning implementation of JANPU-NP accreditation, renewal, and re-accreditation

This Committee aims to create evaluation items and discuss evaluation methods for nursing competence evaluation.
The Committee fulfills the following duties:

1. Matters concerning creation of evaluation items and standards for nursing competence evaluation
2. Matters concerning evaluation methods about nursing competence evaluation
3. Matters concerning plans about review meetings or workshops for evaluation items and methods of nursing competence evaluation
4. Other important matters concerning nursing competence evaluation

Pursuant to the JANPU Rules on the Election of Board Candidates and the Officer Nomination Committee Rules, the following activities will be carried out so that candidates for the Director and Auditor positions can be elected at the General Assembly of the relevant fiscal year:

1. Receive a delegation from the Board of Directors and perform the tasks necessary for the selection of board candidates
2. Report the progress and results of Committee meetings to the Board of Directors
3. The details of the Committee's activities will be reported in the business report at the end of the relevant fiscal year.
4. Minutes of Committee meetings will be submitted to the Secretariat and kept in the main office.

In accordance with the Rules of the Executive Director Candidate Selection Committee, the following activities will be carried out so that candidates for the Executive Director position can be elected to the Board of Directors:

1. Receive a delegation from the Board of Directors and perform the tasks necessary for the selection of Executive Director candidates
2. Report progress and results to the Board of Directors
3. Minutes of Committee meetings shall be submitted to the Secretariat and kept in the main office

This Committee examines specific evaluation content, evaluation methods, and the establishment of evaluation organizations to guarantee the quality of education in bachelor programs and graduate schools at nursing universities.
The Committee deliberates on the following matters:

1. Matters concerning evaluation of education in bachelor programs
2. Matters concerning evaluation of graduate school education
3. Matters concerning organizational structure in educational evaluation of nursing universities
4. Other important matters related to evaluation of nursing education

This Committee aimed to examine and make proposals from the perspective of nursing education with the aim of institutionalizing and developing the system of advanced practice nursing. The Committee collaborated with institutions related to advanced practice nursing education and systems.
The Committee deliberated on the following matters:

1. Matters concerning education for advanced practice nursing
2. Matters concerning the advanced practice nursing system
3. Policy recommendations for advanced practice nursing

This Committee aimed to discuss desirable training methods for Yogo teachers (school nurses) . The Committee collaborated with institutions and groups related to Yogo teacher (school nurse) training curricula and systems.
The Committee deliberated on the following matters:

1. Matters concerning the role of Yogo teachers (school nurses) in light of the mental and physical health issues faced by children today
2. Matters concerning the core competences of Yogo teachers (school nurses) trained at nursing universities with nursing skills
3. Matters concerning the training curriculum for Yogo teachers (school nurses) with nursing skills
4. Matters concerning policy proposals for training of Yogo teachers (school nurses)
